fairlynch Coffee time Talks
Our Coffee Time Talks take place on a Wednesday, once a month during the Winter, when Fairlynch is closed to visitors. The venue is the Peter Hall, behind St Peter’s Church and all are welcome. Entry costs £5, discounted to £3 for Friends of Fairlynch, and coffee and biscuits are served from 10.30am with the talks starting at 11am and lasting 45 minutes.
Last season’s topics included the St Ives School of painting, life in Devon’s workhouses, Richard Caton-Woodville the war-artist, the Exeter Ship Canal, the Roman Army in the Southwest, the Exeter to Exmouth Railway and managing the Pebblebed Heaths. Please see our News and Events page for the current programme.
MARCH 2020 Unfortunately the talks were curtailed in line with government restrictions to combat Covid-19, but we hope to recommence the talks when we safely can.
