local history
Our local history room holds a wealth of information about Budleigh Salterton and the villages of the lower Otter Valley. Apart from our files on the shelves to browse through, our PC containing our digital archives is available to use. It contains amongst other things, transcriptions of many lists of inhabitants dating back to the 14th century. We also have extensive family files that can be browsed.
