Balance the Books
Fairlynch is a wonderful organisation housed in a lovely but expensive to maintain building. Funds are being raised to 'balance the books'; an attempt to bridge the gap between annual income and expenditure. In recent years expenditure has exceeded income by between £4,000 and £5,000, which is unsustainable. Without a reliable income our capital will be drained, forcing closure of the museum, a vital heritage asset.

campaign overview

Situation
The problem of sustainability. Continued financial shortfall will eventually drain capital and will force closure of the museum, a vital heritage asset.
Aims
To bridge the gap between income and expenditure.
Solution
By raising enough money through donations to bridge the gap between income and expenditure. Approx. £4,500 – to offset essential expenditure.

update 2025

Because of Coronavirus, Fairlynch did not open for the 2020 season and was open for only part of 2021. This resulted in a loss of entry fees and donations from visitors. Donations are therefore even more vital than before. Please give generously!

All donations, no matter how large or small, will support the museum charity.
