Friends of Fairlynch

Become a Friend of Fairlynch and help support Budleigh Salterton Arts Centre and Museum

For over half a century Fairlynch Museum and Arts Centre, Budleigh Salterton’s most famous landmark, has been displaying and conserving the precious memories and artefacts that make the town and surrounding area so special.

Before Covid Fairlynch annually welcomed over 5,000 visitors, thereby making a significant contribution to the local economy.  However it is run entirely by volunteers and costs around £14,000 a year to keep going as a museum. It receives no funding, apart from Friends' subscriptions, so needs an income of about £53 a day from visitor entry fees and donations during the six months of the year it is open.

If you love and cherish Budleigh Salterton and the surrounding villages of the beautiful Lower Otter Valley we believe that you will want to play a part by providing some of this help.  By becoming a Friend of Fairlynch you will support our Museum, which plays such a vital role in educating future generations about the history of the area.
